Steve and I decided it was better to wait a little bit before telling too many people we were pregnant in case something happened.  We did tell both of our parents right away and asked them to keep our secret.  I also called my sister the minute I peed on a stick to tell her the good  news.  We told our brothers a few days later.  Since we found out we were having twins both Steve and I told our bosses so they could be prepared.  My manager was excited for me and had some good advice since he just had a baby last year.  Maybe this weekend I’ll tell some other close friends.  I have enjoyed spreading out when we share the news.  Telling people makes me happy.  We’re almost out of the first trimester which means the chance of miscarriage drops significantly.  I know I won’t feel “safe” until I have these little beans in my arms and even then I’m sure there are a million more things for me to start worrying about.  I love them already.
