Here’s my belly at 28w5d.
It’s been a very hectic week. Steve’s mom flew into town and helped us pack up the rest of our condo (Thank you Cindy!!! Couldn’t have done it without you!), Steve gave his thesis talk, we had movers come and we packed up the POD, and now we’re at Pat’s house (Steve’s boss) for two weeks until we fly out to Baltimore. I’ll add another post with pics from Steve’s talk in a bit.
I’ve been incredibly sore and uncomfortable and feeling very pregnant this week. Probably from overdoing it and long days of being on my feet. I get pretty bad lower back pains and my feet and hands are extremely swollen most of the time. I’m also back to being exhausted 24/7. I think my belly has grown a lot since last week. Another new symptom this week is hip pain. I have to sleep on my sides (that’s what they recommend) but all of the weight pressing into the mattress is uncomfortable and causes me to wake up every hour or so to switch positions. Sounds like lots of complaining but it’s really not that bad at all. I don’t feel quite as nauseous as I did last week and as long as I try to stay off my feet I feel great.
