3rd Trimester!!

3rd Trimester!!

I can’t believe we’re in the home stretch!

In less than 10 weeks we will likely get to meet you little guys.  I haven’t felt much movement lately which is scary.  Another symptom I didn’t mention yesterday is that when i lay down I feel like I’m going to vomit.  I’m hoping it’s just because the babies are taking up so much room that there isn’t room for my stomach and food.  It started happening ever since I started taking the iron pills.  The hardest thing for me is taking it easy.  With the move I want to be up helping out and packing things to get us organized and out of here.  The more I push it, the more exhausted I become. We need to get settled in our new home.  It’s felt like the last three months have been nothing but transitional.

  1. I think it’s normal to not feel them moving all the time at 28 weeks. I’m 30 weeks and I still have several hours at a time where they’re just asleep and I feel nothing, but then it’ll be an hour of non-stop dancing in there. The iron pills make me feel nauseous so I think that might your problem. Take them only with food and that should help, and also don’t take them along with any other pill.

    • Thanks for the info Jules. I think you’re right that it’s the iron pills. I take it in the morning after breakfast and take my prenatals and extra folic acid in the evenings. Odd that I mostly feel nauseous when I’m laying down to go to sleep. I don’t have the hour of dancing following the “nap time”. We have an appointment tomorrow so I’ll be sure to ask the dr whether everything is okay.
