Grandma Seacat and I decided to bring down the mattresses for the boys to try out their big boy beds the day after they turned two.  Steve was going out of town for a work trip so it was the perfect time to try them out.  I was surprised at how easy it was to transition them.  They did amazing.  They slept through the night just like they would in their cribs.  We hooked up the Dropcam to watch them on the camera.  It was hilarious.  Anthony got up first and jibber-jabbered to himself.  Nathan kept sleeping.  When Nathan finally decided to wake up he didn’t slowly stretch and move out of the bed, he jumped straight in the air and off his bed and started sprinting about the room.  Anthony then decided it was okay for him to get out of bed too.  They both played and laughed together in there for about an hour before we decided to get them at 8 am.  They even played catch together at one point.  Naps aren’t as successful but are still okay.  We basically watch them on the baby monitor and if they get out of bed we tell them to lay back down.
