Olivia walked/shuffled eleven steps yesterday. The trick (which Steve uncovered) is to give her something to hold and then get really excited and ask her to come to you backing up a little at a time away from her.
Today the boys went for their first walk ever… walking. We made it about a block (almost to the mailbox on another street) before we put the boys back into the stroller. They probably would’ve made it the whole way but I had to get back to work. The pace isn’t quite the same when the boys are walking. But they did a great job. I was impressed. They seemed so proud of themselves and their new freedom of walking on their own outside on the sidewalks.
By the time I took pics I already had Anthony in the stroller. So it’s just little Nate.
Yesterday Steve was walking Nathan around the room, barely holding onto his hands, and when he was done I held Nathan at arms length and asked him to come to me. He took three steps unassisted before crashing into my arms. He’s going to be full on walking any day now!
Anthony is also becoming more brave when it comes to standing. He’ll stand without holding onto anything and practice balancing. He’s also super fast with pushing his cart.
