After some bribing I was able to get the boys to pose for some Christmas photos in some tangled Christmas lights.
Last night was Steve’s holiday party for the Carnegie Institute. It was held at a local country club. Steve and I got all dressed up and left the boys in the loving hands of Grandma and Grandpa DeLuca. They came in for the weekend to give the boys their Christmas presents early. *spoiled/lovedDudes* The party was so much fun. Steve and I had a much needed escape from the norm and enjoyed a night of dancing. We were even the first on the dance floor.
Before we headed out we got some pictures… check it out:
I ordered some new art from Etsy and we stretched it onto a frame yesterday… hence the new backdrop.
Steve’s grandparents sent the boys each a stuffed animal for Christmas. There is a bear and a horse and they both have zippers for mouths and little areas to hide stuff. I LOVED stuffed animals growing up and have a soft spot for everything fluffy. Anthony apparently shares my love for stuffed animals because when he met the stuffed animals he screamed this giddy cute little scream. Here’s what I captured by the time I got my camera:
Thank you Nona & Poppy!!
Grandma gave Anthony a haircut yesterday…. Steve and I decided he looks like Lloyd Christmas. Hilarious.

This Christmas is Anthony and Nathan’s first Christmas as well as the first Christmas that Steve and I have had at our own home. We are lucky that Grandma and Grandpa DeLuca and Uncle Paul are able to join us. Steve and his brother Paul went out yesterday and picked out this beautiful tree:
The stockings are hung and chocolate covered potato chips were made yesterday… it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.
Anthony is excited for Santa:
Nathan is playing the air guitar while Anthony sings Christmas carols.
Anthony and Nathan are hiding in their stockings to scare Santa when he comes down the chimney:
Can you guess which one has been naughty and which one has been nice?
Nathan is telling mommy and grandma what they can do with their cameras and how he feels about this photoshoot… check out that right hand.
Yesterday Aunt Laurie and I went to Belevedere square with the boys on our walk and they were taking free photos with Santa. We didn’t want to take the boys out of the stroller since they’re so little but Santa still posed next to them. They were sound asleep.
