…is my two front teeth. Well, one of them at least. The first week in December I got a phone call from the boys school telling me that Nathan had gotten into an accident in gym class. Apparently he had tripped over a ball and hit his front teeth off the ground. There was a lot of bleeding so the school felt like they should call us to let us know incase we wanted to go to the dentist. I ended up driving to school to check up on him and took him home for the day. Now, that tooth is starting to turn black. It is definitely dying.
I can see why kids get “practice” teeth. Hopefully it stays in his head for a few years until he’s ready to start losing the baby teeth. I think it’s time to schedule their first dentist appointment!
Passed the 3 hour glucose test… time to celebrate with some ice cream.
Here I am sitting in the Dr’s office doing my 3 hour glucose test. My levels were only slightly elevated for the first one hour test 143 (they want to see under 140). I did get to see a new doctor though and asked a few questions. I am measuring at 34 weeks and today I’m 30w5d. Which is normal for twins. This new doctor asked me if I wanted to go ahead and schedule the c-section for 38 weeks. I told her no that if I was going to have a c-section I’d want to go back to GBMC. She suggested I go back to them now. Which defeats the purpose of coming to Mercy to begin with. Baby A is still breech and B is transverse. But I’ve read about a number of twin pregnancies were baby A switched. I’m just not ready to give up yet on baby A turning around.
I also needed to get a TDAP shot today.
Nathan mysteriously got a black eye today from his crib
