Yesterday Ann called in sick with Bronchitis (feel better Ann!) so I got some quality time with the boys. At lunch time Nathan was throwing food so he went to bed early and I got to spend some time chatting with Anthony. He was putting on all the charms. Who can resist a smile like this:
Today was the annual Halloween parade in Homeland. The boys dressed up as a monkey and a monster.
Anthony was so tired yesterday after returning from the Tot Lot with Ann that he fell asleep on the cement outside the house as we were opening the door to let them inside.
Steve bought the boys some Pittsburgh Pirates hats a while ago and they never wore them. For some reason this weekend Anthony decided to throw the hat on backwards and strut his stuff. He is one cool dude!
A couple weeks ago Anthony and Nathan got to help me make an anniversary card for Daddy. Anthony loves to smell the smelly markers. Captured on video!
The boys love to go and wake up Steve in the morning by jumping on the bed.
They are even getting good at giving kisses. Gone are the day of open mouthed slobber. Anthony even likes to smack his lips.
I dressed the boys up in flannels and attempted to get some pictures of them together and failed miserably. The bribing technique that Aunt Sara does fails with my kids. But I did manage a few good ones. These pictures were taken on August 2nd so the boys were almost 21 months old.
Thank you Aunt Sara for the hand-me-downs
The boys have been buzzed for the summer months. It seems like their new haircut also brought on new personalities. They look so different!
On Sunday we happened upon Bank’s monkey costume from Halloween in the basement so we of course had to try it on Anthony.
Our evenings after dinner lately have been us dancing in the living room or chasing the boys around the house in circles. Here’s a little view of what it’s like at our house:
these videos happen to be of Anthony. I’ll have to get one of Nathan as well. I had to get one of Anthony screaming. I love when he screams out of excitement at the top of his lungs.
