It takes 5 hours to watch a 2 hour movie.
It’s spring time and the weather in Baltimore is gorgeous. I have shaken out the dust on my shorts (haven’t been able to wear them in 7 years) and am excited to see the spring flowers. It was 90 degrees today!
Spring isn’t the only thing in the air… four out of our eight bridesmaids/groomsmen (that we know of) are pregnant! I’d tell you who they are but I’m not sure they’ve all told the world yet.
Congratulations guys! You know who you are… 😉
The song stuck in your head is “I’m a little teapot”
According to my breastfeeding app, from 11/25 to today:
Anthony = 12612 minutes = 8.76 days feeding 24/7
Nathan = 13332 minutes = 9.26 days feeding 24/7
= ~18 days of nonstop breastfeeding… that’s a lot of time out of my life sitting around staring at the wall. 🙂
Today was a rough day! The boys pretty much ate every two hours and I let them eat on their own so they ended up eating every hour since they were on opposite schedules. Then between eating they would scream and need to be held until they fell sleep for half hour naps. Definitely seemed like a growth spurt to me. Luckily we had grandma DeLuca here to help! Hopefully tomorrow is better…
Oh…and I think the motor on my breast pump its dying…
…my hair that is. It’s falling out like crazy. Guess it’s common after giving birth. So weird.
The boys each eat about 3 ounces of breastmilk a feeding
= 6 ounces a feeding
x 9 feedings a day
= 54 ounces a day
x 7 days a week
= 378 ounces a week
/ 128 (number of ounces in a gallon)
= 2.95 gallons of milk a week
~12 gallons a month
~ 159 gallons a year
The number of calories a mom breastfeeding twins burns a day.
We decided to keep track of how many diapers we went through. We determined it takes 15 days to go through a 256 pack. That’s over 500 diapers a month…
Our favorite brand is pampers swaddlers. The blue line is a must have. 🙂
I fed the boys 18 times in the last 24 hours… where is Grandma and Grandpa?!?
