I knew that Anthony would start walking after Nathan but I didn’t expect it to be so soon after Nathan. It’s almost like Anthony was watching Nathan try to walk and then decided, “Okay, I can do that, that’s easy enough”. He was walking all over the house today.
Thanks for having us Grandma and Grandpa DeLuca… we miss you already! The boys have both been into pointing at anything and everything these days. Especially Anthony. He loves when you tell him what he’s pointing at. Sometimes he’ll wind up and randomly point at the ceiling until he’s pointing at something that we can identify for him. They are both getting good at telling us what they want.
The boys got to play in the snow this morning. We made a snowman and went sledding. The first time the boys did both of those things. They loved it. Nathan was off exploring on his own and both boys were eating snow.
Steve’s grandparents sent the boys each a stuffed animal for Christmas. There is a bear and a horse and they both have zippers for mouths and little areas to hide stuff. I LOVED stuffed animals growing up and have a soft spot for everything fluffy. Anthony apparently shares my love for stuffed animals because when he met the stuffed animals he screamed this giddy cute little scream. Here’s what I captured by the time I got my camera:
Yesterday my brother, Mark, sister-in-law Katie, and their two sons, West and Townes, drove over to Baltimore to spend the afternoon with us.
It was so nice to see them! We had flown out to Montana to meet Townes when he was just a week or so old and he has changed a lot! He is a big little guy:
And he’s got red hair just like his daddy’s beard. This was the first time I’ve seen my boys interact with a small baby and it was so cute. Both of them were so curious about Townes. Nathan wanted to touch him and Anthony was doing laps around him in excitement as he lay on the ground.
Here’s a video of Anthony circling… it’s a little blurry but you’ll get the idea of how cute he was:
Thanks for coming out of your way to visit us! It’s so nice to get the boys together.
