Heightened senses means the smell of diapers is unbearable. Changing a poop or even a pee makes me want to gag.
This morning we woke up to the boys being surprisingly quiet. Steve went in their room to see them huddled around this foreign object:
When we asked Nate who did it he took credit for his masterpiece.
They both had unzipped their onesies and Nate had taken his diaper off. Here’s a video I took. Unfortunately it’s a bit out of focus because my skills are not fast enough to keep up with a moving toddler and it was early in the morning. I had to do some editing to cut out any nudity. But here it is!
I mentioned a while ago that Anthony and Nathan can no longer take naps in the same room. It typically means that Anthony gets to come downstairs and snuggle next to Ann on the couch while Nathan sleeps in the room. Today Ann took some pictures of Anthony asleep. There is something about a sleeping child…
I’ve known for a little over a week now… and I’m exhausted! Usually I get really really tired right around when we put the boys down for bed, at 7:30 pm. Steve must think I’m nuts because I’ve been wanting to fall asleep or lay in bed for the rest of the evening. Otherwise I’m feeling pretty good. I get a little nauseous right before dinner but after I eat I feel a lot better. Speaking of eating… I’m ALWAYS hungry. This little one is using up a lot of my energy to grow. Which makes me smile. 😀
…what Nathan calls Gracie.
