Earlier this week Steve and I heard Nathan talking to Alexa in the middle of the night. Steve went in and he was saying “Alexa, tuck me in” over and over again in his sleep!
Last week when Steve was saying goodnight to Nathan he said, “Daddy, today at school I was trying to spell my name but Alison stole the ‘N’.” To which Steve responded, “what about the ‘a’?”. Nathan got excited and exclaimed, “Yea! She took that too!”
The boys are currently attempting to take a nap. I’m sitting in the room with them while they jabber to each other. Nathan just said to Anthony, “I’m going to marker on you with pretend marker”… so mean.
Steve: “You guys are eating all of these oranges. You’re going to poop sour patch kids”
Nathan: “People don’t do that”
I’m up working and Steve is asleep. He just said “Oh no!” and I said “what?” and he said “squished poopies”, to which I replied “squished poopies?!?” and he goes “there are squished poopies in here” and turns over the other way. …wonder what he is dreaming about. 🙂 #toddlerNightmares

Yesterday we took the entire family in the mini van to Glen Burnie to take some family photos with the girls. Erin Morris Photography. We were about 8 minutes late because of traffic and generally getting the kiddos out of the house and then when we got there both girlies were wide awake so they had me breastfeeding them so they’d fall asleep. Once we started going, we got some really great photos of the girls. Here’s one of the sneak peek ones that the photographer shared on her facebook page:
On the way home it seemed like everyone in the car was talking at the same time. Then all of a sudden Anthony says “Daddy, stop talking”. Followed by “Mommy, stop talking”. Then “Only I talk!”. To which Grandma said something and was told “Grandma, stop talking”. We were all laughing uncontrollably. Anthony has definitely come out of his little bossy shell ever since starting school!
